Job Description: We manage just under 70 buildings and have to show apartments to prospective tenants. Our office handles all phone calls to set appointment, all you do is open doors for our available rentals. No selling, no negotiating, just open the doors. You will refer any inquiries back to the office phone number (and you call and notify our office) and we will handle it from that point. Need to dress business casual, be presentable, polite, well spoken, and courteous. Make the potential renters aware of the other units available if the are not interested in the unit being shown. We will provide the details of the unit and other available units on paper to hand out. A great job to see how the rental business works and to see different kinds of apartments.

Salary: commensurate with experience, To Start: $22k-$26k, Salaried, + Benefits, + Bonus

Experience:
PREFERED: the following: College Graduates, already NYS Real Estate Licensed, Prior apartment leasing or property management experience. If you are well spoken, like talking to people, capable of basic negotiations, and have a strong work ethic, then please apply.
REQUIRED: Reliable Vehicle for very short distances around the City of Albany, high school diploma or GED, well spoken, type at least 35 wpm (without looking at the key board), basic knowledge of computer word processors, spreadsheets, searching on the internet, etc..
Job Description: Including but not limited to the following: Contacting our existing tenants to discover if they are moving out or renewing their lease. If staying, creating their new lease, and following through to get it signed and input to our database.
If leaving, schedule a walk through, take photos, prepare marketing, put into to available units list, place advertising and put into showing schedule. You will be required to make showing schedule adjustments, work with your provided showing people to ensure a smooth showing experience for the potential tenants that want to view the apartments.
You will be busiest from March to October. It will be more relaxed in the winter however your focus will slightly change.
You will work on ensuring your existing tenants are satisfied. Make regular inspections of the properties to ensure cleanliness and report any maintenance items. You may be needed to assist the broker with the processing some sales transactions. You would be able to work on your own sales if you choose, for a commission in addition to your bi-weekly salary.

Job Description: We manage many buildings within the city of Albany. We have many common areas that need cleaning on a regular basis. We also need our office cleaned at least once a week. Aside from these duties, we have apartments that need to be cleaned after a tenant has moved out or after our contractors have completed repairs.
